ColorOS 11 based Android 11 Beta Update now available for Oppo A73 5G

Oppo A73 5G is the company’s latest smartphone which gets the taste of ColorOS 11 based Android 11 update via beta program. The device is slated to receive the update from 14th April, but this time Oppo surprises the A73 5G users. The latest update brings a bunch of new features, improvements, and bugs fixes. Oppo suggest users to upgrade their smartphone to A.13/A.15 software version, so make sure to update your smartphone to the newer version. The update is limited in regions like Australia, Saudi Arabia, and UAE (United Arab Emirates). According to the details, users can apply for the trail program till 19th April. We can expect a global roll out very soon. The update will also bump up the monthly security patch version.

In terms of changes, then the Oppo A73 5G users can access the features like the features such as FlexDrop, Oppo Sans font, three-finger gesture to translate from Google Lens, Nearby Sharing, Super Power Saving Mode, and a slew of customizations to the Dark Mode, Always-On Display, Wallpapers, Ringtones, and Icons. Not only this, but the update also packs a slew of basic features of Android 11.

If you’re using the Oppo A73 5G, then make sure to update it to the latest software version. If your smartphone is already running on the newer version, then you can follow the below process to take a part into the beta program. Before updating your device via special OTA, make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, charge your device to at least 50 percent. As I mentioned earlier, the update comes with a number of useful features, enhancements, along with the updated monthly security.

  1. Connect your phone to the Internet and Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Go to Software Update. Tap the Settings on the screen.
  3. Then select Apply for Beta > Update Beta version.
  4. And then complete the steps that it asks.

After filling the Android 11 beta form, officials will review your application and within a week you may get the Android 11 Beta update on your Oppo A73 5G. If you didnโ€™t make in the first batch then wait for the second batch.
