Borderlands 4: Release Date
The developers and publishers behind the game, 2K and Gearbox, have only listed that the game is set to be released in 2025. Talking about announcement, Borderlands 4 was announced at the Gamesconn 2024 event that took place from August 21. Since the 2025 is not far away, we will be seeing many information about the game down the line.
Borderlands 4: Multiplayer and Game Engine
If you look at the Borderlands 4 Steam page, you will notice that it just talks about what it takes for you, as the player, to be the legendary Vault Hunter on your journey to hunt for secret alien treasure. Additionally, the game will continue with the online four-player co-op mode, which has been a staple across the Borderlands franchise.
Big improvements to the game are expected to come in the form of game physics and graphics. The developers have been using Unreal Engine 7 as the game engine for Borderlands 4. With such improvements, you can expect slightly higher system requirements for the game when compared to Borderlands 3.
Borderlands 4: Supported Platforms
Take Two, the publisher behind the Borderlands 4 game has revealed in its wire post that the game will be available for PC as well as new generation consoles. Sorry, PS4 and Xbox One, the Borderlands journey comes to an end for you.
