It’s been almost two months since the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which comes with several new AI features. Notably, some of these features are not yet available on other Galaxy devices, including the popular AI Audio Eraser feature.
Audio Eraser is a powerful tool that allows users to remove background noise from videos. You may already know about removing objects from images, but Audio Eraser takes things to the next level, especially for those who record videos often.
However, the feature is currently only available on the Galaxy S25. Fortunately, it’s now coming to more devices with the stable One UI 7 update. Recently, Samsung officially announced the stable release date of One UI 7 in a press release. Fortunately, the press release also confirms the devices that will be getting Audio Eraser soon.
Here are the devices eligible for Audio Eraser feature:
- Galaxy S24 series
- Galaxy S24 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold6
- Galaxy Z Flip6
- Galaxy Tab S10 series
As you can see, not many Galaxy devices are eligible for the Audio Eraser. It may be because of the hardware limitations.
If you have one of these devices, you can soon experience the Audio Eraser with the One UI 7 update coming next month. However, the feature is currently not available through the beta update. The feature may become available directly with the stable One UI 7 update starting in April.
With the help of Audio Eraser, you can free videos from any unwanted noise. It can detect and remove various types of noises such as fan noise, crowd noise, music, wind, dog bark, and more. Once you start using it, you may find yourself using it frequently.
To use the Audio Eraser, make sure you’re logged in with your Samsung account on your phone. Open the Gallery app and play a video with background noise. Then, click on the Galaxy AI icon in the center. Now it will detect the noise and provide you with an option to remove it. You can adjust the noise level using the slider.
