Asus is all set to launch the next-gen ROG Phone 9 series on November 19. The phone was showcased last month at the Snapdragon Summit event. In recent days, it appeared on certification sites and various leaks. However, the complete specs were not available until now. Here you can find other details about the upcoming ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro.
Today, we have key details of the upcoming duo, including the complete spec sheet, in-box content, color shades, and more.
ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro Specs
ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro will come in Storm White and Phantom Black colors. Both phones are expected to feature a 6.78-inch PMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of 1 to 120Hz and 1080 X 2448 pixels resolution. There’s a dedicated Game Genie mode where the refresh rate can reach up to 185Hz.
The ROG Phone 9 Pro measures about 163.77 x 76.78 x 8.9mm. Both base and Pro models will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Adreno 830 GPU under the hood. Both phones will come with Android 15 out of the box.
For starters, the vanilla ROG Phone 9 is expected to come with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Whereas, the Pro model will pack 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. There can be more RAM and storage variants, but we can confirm these two at the moment.
Following the previous trends, these phones still have a 3.5mm headphone jack. They also support WiFi 7, NFC, Bluetooth, and more.
Talking about the camera, the ROG Phone 9 duo is expected to come with a 50MP snapper as the main sensor. Other rear sensors have not included in the spec sheet we have but as rumored the 50MP main camera will be paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, a 32MP shooter will be available on both phones.
