Asus is one of the best smartphone companies in the market. But we cannot say the same when we are talking about updates. Asus has not been promising on providing the latest update to its users, and till now only a few Asus phones received the Android 11 update. If you have an Asus ROG Phone 3, then finally you will be able to experience the latest Android 11 features. The first Android 11 beta is now rolling out for Asus ROG Phone 3.
Asus ROG Phone 3 is last year’s flagship gaming device which packs with some exceptional hardware like the latest processor, powerful GPU with cooling setup, and more. But the software also plays an important role in managing the task on the phone. The phone was released last year with Android 10 based ROG UI out of the box. And this will be the first major update for the device. Around the last week of January, users got the chance to participate in the beta program.
The first Android 11 beta update is available for ROG Phone 3 beta testers. And it comes with build number 18.0410.2101.80. And since it is a major update that brings Android 11, it weighs more than 1GB. We didn’t exactly get which version of the security patch it bears, but we can expect it is available with either February 2021 security patch or March 2021 security patch.
Now let’s talk about what new you get to see in the first Asus ROG Phone 3 Android 11 beta. The update brings most of the Android 11 features that were introduced with the release of Android 11. This includes chat bubbles, new notification layout with notification history, and improved privacy settings, etc. Along with these features, users will also get to experience revamped UI, Bluetooth works in airplane mode, and a bunch of other new features.
