Android 12 is the latest Android version which is now available to the public. Google recently released the stable Android 12 in October 2021. And Asus has now unveiled the list of Asus phones eligible for the Android 12 update. Yes, this is the Android 12 roadmap for Asus phones. Asus already recruited Asus Zenfone 8 users for testing the early build of Android 12 or Android 12 beta. But the Android 12 Beta program was for limited users. Soon Asus may also release a few more Android 12 beta builds before the stable Android 12 release for Asus Phones. The Android 12 for Asus Zenfone models will be based on Zen UI whereas the ROG phone models will be based on ROG UI.

Along with the announcement of Android 12 for Asus phones, the OEM has also revealed the list of Asus phones that will receive Android 12. Asus will start rolling out Android 12 for its phones from December 2021. And as you already know that Android 12 beta is available for the Zenfone 8, so it is clear that the Zenfone 8 will be the first Asus phone to receive the Android 12 update.

Asus announced that the Android 12 update will bring a bunch of attractive features of the official Android 12 announced by Google. It means we can see the Material You like interface, widgets, privacy dashboard, and more. Along with Android 12 features, Android 12 for Asus phones will also be available with some ZenUI changes that allow easier navigation, streamlined control panels, increased visibility for better control, and more customization options.
