Apple seeds third beta of watchOS 11.2 to developers

Apple has just released the third beta of watchOS 11.2 for testing purposes. The incremental beta upgrade comes one week after the second beta. The update is expected to bring new features and enhancements to the Apple Watch. The public release of watchOS 11.2 is expected during the first or second week of December.

Apple is pushing the new software upgrade with the 22S5094a build number. The incremental beta weighs 256MB in download size. If you’re already on the watchOS 11.2 beta, you can quickly upgrade your watch to the third beta. It is a free upgrade for developers and public beta testers. For the time being, the update’s availability is limited to developers, it will be public to public beta testers in a matter of time.

Moving to features and changes, the watchOS 11.2 third beta changelog does not mention any specific features. But this doesn’t mean the absence of new features, the update is expected to bring some new features with the upcoming upgrade.

watchOS 11.2 Third Beta Update

If your iPhone or iPad is running on the latest version of iOS 18.2 developer beta, then you can easily sideload the watchOS 11.2 beta 3 on your Watch.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Select Beta Updates and enable watchOS 11 Developer Beta option.
  4. Go back and download the third beta of watchOS 11.2.
  5. Thatโ€™s it.

Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network.

Now the watchOS 11.2 beta update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch. And after the completion of the installation process, your watch will restart. Once all done, you can start using your Apple Watch.
