Apple seeds the first beta of watchOS 11.4 to developers

Apple begins testing the next major incremental watchOS 11 upgrade on the Apple Watch – watchOS 11.4. The company has released the first developer beta of watchOS 11.4 for testing purposes. The update is expected to bring new features, fixes, and enhancements.

watchOS 11.4 first beta is seeding with a 22T5T121L build number. If your Apple Watch is running on watchOS 11 or newer, you can freely upgrade to the watchOS 11.4. The first beta of the Apple Watch Series 7 weighs approx. 1.1GB in download size.

When it comes to changes coming with the newest beta upgrade, then Apple didn’t mention anything in the release notes, however, the update is expected to squash bugs. Additionally, we can expect some small features coming with the update.

watchOS 11.4 First Beta

If your iPhone or iPad is running on the latest version of iOS 18.4 first developer beta, then you can easily sideload the watchOS 11.4 beta on your Watch.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Select Beta Updates and enable watchOS 11 Developer Beta option.
  4. Go back and download the first beta of watchOS 11.4.
  5. Thatโ€™s it.

Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network.

Now the watchOS 11.4 first beta update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch. Once done, you can start using your watch.
