Apple pushes iOS 18.4 Beta 4 update to Developers

Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 18.4 to developers, and will soon be available to beta testers. The iOS 18.4 Beta 4 update might be the final beta before the release candidate build.

Apple plans to release the iOS 18.4 to the public in April, bringing with it many new features. It seems like the public update could arrive as early as the first week of April. So, if you have an eligible iPhone, including iPhone Xr and newer models, keep your device ready for the next big update.

Today, Apple also released other beta updates, including iPadOS 18.4 Beta 4, watchOS 11.4 Beta 4, tvOS 18.4 Beta 4, macOS Sequoia 15.4 Beta 4, and visionOS 2.4 Beta 4.

iOS 18.4 Beta 4 update

The iOS 18.4 Beta 4 comes with build number 22E5232a, which indicates that the official release is just two weeks away. However, Apple could surprise with another beta if required.

The fourth beta update is a bug fix release that improves the stability of the update. As usual, you wonโ€™t find any traces of changes or fixes on the update page. However, thanks to the user feedback and release notes, weโ€™re aware of various fixes, including the Notification overlapping fix, lag fix, Siri suggestions fix, and more.

If youโ€™ve selected the beta updates on your eligible iPhone, youโ€™ll receive the iOS 18.4 Beta 4 update on your device. You can check for the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

If youโ€™re on a public build, you donโ€™t need to join the beta as itโ€™ll be available to everyone in the next two to three weeks. However, make sure to back up your device before any major upgrade.
