Apple seeds iOS 15.5 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.5 Beta 2

Apple rolls out the second beta of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 to developers and soon to public beta testers. The first iOS 15.5 Beta and iPadOS 15.5 beta was released in the first week of April. Apple has already announced the dates of WWDC22. This means Apple will start testing the iOS 16 and so iOS 15.5 could be the last major update of iOS 15. The iOS 15.5 is expected to go public in the last week of May. Since iOS 15.5 is potentially the last beta this may not include new features but instead bug fixes and improvements.

Along with iOS 15.5 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.5 Beta 2, Apple also released watchOS 8.6 Beta 2, tvOS 15.5 Beta 2, and macOS Monterey 12.4 Beta 2. Both iOS 15.5 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.5 Beta 2 comes with build number 19F5057e. The update weighs around 500MB for all iPhones.

Talking about changes and new features the iOS 15.5 Beta 2 comes with bug fixes and improvements. We did not find any new features yet on this build. But once we find it we will share it here. If you have found new changes and features, let us know of them in the comment section.

As mentioned earlier, iOS 15.5 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.5 Beta 2 are now available to developers. But soon it will be available to public beta testers as well. If you have installed the beta profile or using the first beta then you will get the OTA update on your phone. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. If you are on a public stable build and want to test beta 2, then you need to install a beta profile.

Before updating your iPhone or iPad, make sure to charge it at 50% and take a backup. As it is a beta update there can be some bugs.
