Apple seeds iOS 15.4 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 2

The second beta of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 is now available with a hint of the Tap to Pay on iPhone feature. Apple has released the first beta in the last week of January. And in the following week, we didn’t get any update from Apple. Finally, two weeks later Apple released iOS 15.4 beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 beta with some changes.

iOS 15.4 is going to be a feature rich update. Most of the features are already out with the first beta. And in the upcoming beta, we can expect more new features before they are released to the public which is expected to be available after Apple’s March event. iOS 15.4 Beta 2

Along with iOS 15.4 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 2, Apple also released macOS Monterey 12.3 Beta 2, watchOS 8.5 Beta 2, and tvOS 15.4 Beta 2. Both iOS 15.4 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 2 come with build number 19E5219e. Talking about the new features, the update comes with a modem update. So if you have any network or connectivity issues in the previous update, you can expect the fix in the second beta.

Apart from modem updates, there are many small changes that improve features introduced in the first beta like shareplay icon alignment and more. The iOS 15.4 Beta 2 also contains the code for Tap to Pay on iPhone. So this feature will also be available soon.

iOS 15.4 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 2

iOS 15.4 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 2 are currently available to developers as well as public beta testers. So if you have a beta profile installed on your iPhone or iPad, you will receive the second beta on your iPhone or iPad. In case you are on a public build, you need to install the beta profile to try iOS 15.4 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 2.

To manually check for the update, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Before updating your iPhone or iPad make sure to charge it at 50% and take backup. As it is a beta update there can be some bugs.
