After rolling out the second beta of iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 earlier this week, Apple now rolls out iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1. As we expected this update is released mainly due to bugs in iPhone 13. The update is available for all the iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 respectively. Here you can check what has been fixed in iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1.

iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 were released on 20th September to the public. And in case you encounter bugs in the update then this new update will fix some of those bugs. Also, iPhone 13 series has issues like the 120Hz is not working on all apps and users are not able to unlock iPhone 13 with their Apple watches.

iOS 15.0.1 Update

Since this is an update for bugs fixes for iPhones and iPads, Apple only released iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1. Both iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 comes with build number 19A348. The update size can vary as per the iPhone or iPad you have. As I mentioned earlier the update fixes some major bugs. Below you can check the official changelog.

iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 Update

Apple released iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 updates for everyone with eligible iPhones and iPads. You will get the update directly on your device. To manually check for the update, go to Settings > Software Update. And then click on Download and Install to get the update.

Now if you are on the iOS 15 beta and beta profile is installed, then you will not get the update on your phone. So in that case you need to remove the beta profile from your iPhone or iPad. If you want to continue with the beta build, then you don’t need to remove the beta profile. Now let’s jump into the steps to delete the beta profile and install the latest public build.

How to Remove Beta Profile from iPhone and iPad

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to General and then Profile.
  3. Now it will show the Beta profile installed on your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Click on the available beta profile.
  5. Then click on the Remove Profile button.
  6. If it asks for the passcode, then enter your device passcode and click the Remove button.

And if your iPhone/iPad running a higher version (iOS 15 Beta), then you need to downgrade your Apple device. But it will remove all data from your iPhone. So, we don’t recommend downgrade unless you want to Jailbreak iPhone or iPad.
