Apple seeds fourth beta of watchOS 8.7 to developers

Apple has been testing the watchOS 8.7 since last month. The firm had already released three beta builds of the upcoming watchOS 8.7. And today, Apple pushed the fourth beta of watchOS 8.7 to the Apple Watch with fixes and improvements. The latest watchOS beta goes official with the 19U5056c firmware version, currently, the update is available for the developer and public beta testers. Yes, it will be released soon to the public through the stable channel. It is a small upgrade comparing the previous beta build, you can quickly install it on your Apple Watch. And if you’re a developer, then you may have already received the new update on your Watch, if not then you can easily install it manually on your Watch. The update is available on all Apple Watch models running watchOS 8 or newer.

  1. At first, you need to login to Apple Developer Program website.
  2. Then, head over to the downloads.
  3. Tap on watchOS 8.7 beta 4 available under featured downloads. Then tap on the download button.
  4. Now install watchOS 8.7 beta 4 profile on your iPhone, then authorize the profile by going to Settings > General > Profiles.
  5. Now restart your iPhone.

If your Apple Watch is already running on the third beta of watchOS 8.7, then you’ll receive the new update over-the-air, while if you’re on a stable build, then here’s how you can join the beta.
