Summarize This Article:

Last week, Apple rolled out the first public beta of watchOS 26. Today, the company has released the fifth developer beta of watchOS 26 for testing purposes. The incremental upgrade brings a few tweaks, enhancements, and fixes. Read on to know more about the watchOS 26 fifth beta.

Apple releases the watchOS 26 beta 5 with 23R5328g firmware version. The update weighs approximately 1.5GB in size to users running on watchOS 11. However, if your Apple Watch is already running on watchOS 26 developer beta, the download size will be significantly smaller due to it being an incremental update. If you’re a developer, you can freely upgrade your Apple Watch to the latest beta.

Talking about the compatibility, the upgrade is available for those who own the Apple Watch Series 6 or newer models. If everything goes fine with the fifth beta, we can expect the second public beta release later this week or maybe early next week.

watchOS 26 is still in its initial phases, which means you can face bugs and issues on your Apple Watch, it also means the update is not suitable for regular use. As always, Apple didn’t mention any changes in the release notes of watchOS 26 fifth beta.

Talking about the features of watchOS 26, the new OS adopts the Liquid Glass design elements, Apple Intelligence-powered Workout Buddy, improved smart stack, messages, and more.
