Apple has just released a big incremental watchOS 11 update to the public, the newest release in the iteration is watchOS 11.2. The update now lets users pause the iPhone video recording from the camera remote app, updates to the Tides app, other enhancements, and fixes.
watchOS 11.2 update is seeding with the 22S101 build number. I received the update on my Apple Watch Series 7 with a download size of around 630MB. If your watch is running on watchOS 11, you can freely install the new watchOS 11.2 update on your watch.
watchOS 11.2 is a big update and so it brings some major changes to the watch. Talking about the changes, watchOS 11.2 release notes confirm the addition of a pause button in the camera remote app for iPhone video recording and users in China can now check for Tidal conditions in the Tides app. Apart from these changes, we can expect system-wide enhancements and bug fixes.

watchOS 11.2 Update
First things first, you need to update your iPhone to iOS 18.2, then only you can proceed installing the watchOS 11.2 update on your Apple Watch. Follow these steps to download the update.
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap General > Software Update.
- Simply select download and install watchOS 11.2 update.
- That’s it.
Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network.
Now the watchOS 11.2 update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch. And after the completion of the installation process, your watch will restart. Once all done, you can start using your Apple Watch.
