Apple has been testing the next iteration of watchOS 11โ€”watchOS 11.4, for the past two weeks. Today, the company released the second beta of watchOS 11.4. If you’re a developer, you can freely upgrade your Apple Watch to the latest beta software upgrade.

Apple is pushing the incremental beta to the eligible watch models with 22T5228e build number. While the initial build was measured around 1.1GB in download size, this latest incremental update is a leaner 512MB.

As always, Apple didn’t shed light on changes coming with the new software upgrade. However, the second beta of iOS 18.4 brings support for a new set of emojis and the new addition will also be available on the watchOS 11.4. Apart from that, we can expect system-wide improvements and bug fixes.

  3. Select Beta Updates and enable watchOS 11 Developer Beta option.
  4. Go back and download the second beta of watchOS 11.4.
  5. Thatโ€™s it.
