After rolling out iOS 15.4 beta 2 and iPadOS 15.4 beta 2 to beta testers earlier this week, Apple has also rolled out iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 to the public. Apple is currently testing iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4, but iOS 15.3 is the current major update available to the public. It has some issues and also some vulnerabilities which are addressed in the latest iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 updates.
Apple also released watchOS 8.4.2 and macOS 12.2.1 along with iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1. Both iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 updates come with build number 19D52. It is a small update and weighs around 263MB. The specific size depends on the device model.

- iOS 15.3.1 provides important security updates for your iPhone and fixes an issue that may cause Braille displays to stop responding.
There are many other bugs that have been fixed and not in the changelog like the storage bug. But as for the new features, it doesn’t bring anything new.

The update is available to all users with eligible devices running on the public build of iOS 15.3. Users will receive the OTA update notification. And if you don’t see the update you can manually check for the update from Settings > General > Software Update.
Users who are in a beta update or higher update will not receive the update. If you received the update make sure to take a full backup of your phone and also charge the device to at least 50%.
