The third iOS 15.2 beta and iPadOS 15.2 beta are now available to beta testers with several changes and bug fixes. Last week the second beta was released with some improvements and we can expect the third beta to be better. As we move closer to the iOS 15.2 public release, this and the upcoming beta will perform close to the stable build.
iOS 15.1 is the current stable build available to the public which has many bugs. And many of these bugs have already been fixed in the first three betas. Hopefully, any major issues that are degrading the user experience will be fixed before the stable public build. For iOS 15.2 beta 3, Apple has officially mentioned the change in Reminders, but there are several small changes here and there along with a few bug fixes.
Along with iOS 15.2 Beta 3 and iPadOS 15.2 Beta 3, Apple has also released macOS Monterey 12.1 Beta 3, tvOS 15.2 Beta 3, watchOS 8.3 Beta 3, and AirPods firmware. Both iOS 15.2 Beta 3 and iPadOS 15.2 Beta 3 come with build number 19C5044b. According to the build number, we can expect the update to be released to the public in the first two weeks of December.
The third beta comes with a new modem update. So if there was a connectivity issue that was not fixed in beta 2, there is a high chance of it being fixed in a new modem firmware update. In Reminders, Tags can now be bulk renamed and deleted.
There are some changes in Settings like the Macro Control enable option is now available directly under Camera Settings. The iCloud Private Relay option in Cellular Data Options is now changed with the Limit IP Address Tracking option. There are also some new splash screen for many apps.
