The second hotfix update for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are here that addresses bugs from the new iPhone and new update. Last week Apple released the first update to the public after iOS 15 which also fixed a couple of bugs but many were not addressed. And so we are seeing a new public update focused on fixes and improvements. Here you can check what’s new in iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 updates.

As you know Apple is already testing the iOS 15.1 and this will also fix some bugs along with some features that didn’t make it in the iOS 15 public release. But we all knew that an update was coming with fixes and it was released last week. But that didn’t bring fixes for some bugs, so Apple is here with a new set of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 updates.

iOS 15.0.2 Update

Along with iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2, Apple also released watchOS 8.0.1. Both iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 come with build number 19A404. And the update size will vary on the update version you are coming from and also depend on the device. As we mentioned earlier it is a bug fix update. So check out the bug fixes in the update log below.

iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 update

Both iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 updates are available for eligible iPhones and iPads to the public. It is possible that you may find a few other changes that are not included in the changelog. If that’s the case, do let us know in the comment section. Now as we mentioned it is a public update so you will get the update directly on your eligible devices. You can also check for the update manually from Settings > Software Update.

In case you are testing a beta build, but want to get the stable update then you need to remove the beta profile if installed. Or you can also install the update manually using IPSW. If you want to continue with the beta build, then you don’t need to remove the beta profile. Now let’s jump into the steps to delete the beta profile and install the latest public build.

How to Remove Beta Profile from iPhone and iPad

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to General and then Profile.
  3. Now it will show the Beta profile installed on your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Click on the available beta profile.
  5. Then click on the Remove Profile button.
  6. If it asks for the passcode, then enter your device passcode and click the Remove button.

And if your iPhone/iPad running a higher version (iOS 15 Beta), then you need to downgrade your Apple device. But it will remove all data from your iPhone. So, we don’t recommend downgrade unless you want to Jailbreak iPhone or iPad.
