Android Auto is getting fresh look with Material You support in the latest 13.4 update, which is now rolling out to all users. The latest update allows Android Auto to match your phone’s wallpaper accent color bringing a personalized experience to your dashboard.

User interface is one of the important aspects of any display device, and with the new color-matching ability, Android Auto now gives a familiar vibe, aligning with your Android phone’s theme.

The Material You on Android Auto does not extend to third-party apps. You’ll notice Material You accent in Settings, Notifications and the Notifications Center. The accent color applies to many elements such as background, text, toggle, and more.

Material You on Android Auto will reflect only if you have enabled it on your connected phone. So if your phone has Material You enabled, your Android Auto will automatically match the accent color of your phone’s wallpapers.
