Google has released the Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2.1 update, addressing known issues from the second beta. The QPR2 update, is expected to release to public in March as the next Pixel feature drop update. Beta testing for this update began in November.
Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2.1 is a small incremental update available for eligible models listed below:
- Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
- Pixel 6a
- Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
- Pixel 7a
- Pixel Fold
- Pixel Tablet
- Pixel 8 and 8 Pro
- Pixel 8a
- Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold
The minor but important update is rolling out with build number BP11.241121.013, but it still comes with December 2024 security patch.
Talking about other changes, the update fixes some known issues from Beta 2. Here is the complete changelog.
- Fixed several issues that sometimes caused a device to freeze, crash, or restart unexpectedly.
- Fixed an issue where the Emoji Workshop options opened when selecting wallpapers from other categories in system settings.
- Fixed various other issues that were impacting system stability and connectivity.
The latest Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2.1 will be available via OTA update if you have enrolled in the beta program. This is an important update if you have upgraded to Beta 2. You can download and install the update directly from Settings.
