Android 15 is the latest version of Android available to the public, which started rolling out to devices shortly after Google released it to AOSP. Motorola also started the roll out last year and has since rolled out Android 15 for some of its devices.

There are still a few Android 15 eligible Motorola devices that are yet to get the update, including the Motorola Razr+ 2023. However, we now know when Razr+ 2023 (aka Razr 40 Ultra) users can expect the update, at least in Canada.

Two major carrier companies have published an update roll out schedule that reveals the Android 15 update plan for the Motorola Razr+ 2023. According to Fido and Rogers, the Motorola Razr+ 2023 will start receiving the update from January 29, 2025.

Although the mentioned date applies to Rogers and Fido devices, unlocked models and others should also receive the update around the same time. This also applies to regional availability.

If you have the Motorola Razr+ 2023 also known as Razr 40 Ultra, you can expect the stable Android 15 update in the coming weeks.

With the Android 15 update, you can expect several new features such as new lock screen customization features, updated quick panel, Circle to Search functionality on compatible devices, Gen AI emojis, new emoji stickers, improved connections, and more.

Luckily we wonโ€™t have to wait too long to get this major update, unlike last year when Razr+ users had to wait over ten months to get Android 15 since its original release. It looks like Motorola is picking up the pace with Android 15.
