Android 15 based ColorOS 15 Closed Beta Program Goes Live for Oppo K12x

Last week, Oppo kicked off the beta testing of its newest skin on the mid-range Oppo F27 5G. Today, the company has expanded the Android 15-based ColorOS 15 closed beta to affordable Oppo K12x. The phone is expected to receive a stable update in December or maybe in January if delayed.

Oppo has officially announced the details of its closed beta program in a community post on its forum. The company has confirmed that there are only 2,000 seats to join the beta program. Please note that applications will be accepted from November 7 to November 12.

If you own the Oppo K12x and reside in India, make sure your phone is running on the CPH2667_14.0.1.736(EX01) software version. If your phone is on the older software, you need to update it to the latest build to take a part in the beta program.

Android 15 based ColorOS 15 skin brings a flurry of new features including new animations, app icons, themes, lock screen customization, AI features, and more. You can navigate to our dedicated article on ColorOS 15.

If you want to join the beta program, you can navigate to Go to Settings > About Device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Trial version > Alpha and follow the steps to apply. Once done, you will receive a message to join official ColorOS group on telegram.

Additionally, your application will be reviewed in 5 days.If your application got selected you will receive the ColorOS 15 beta via a special OTA update.

Keep in mind that you may encounter with some bugs or issues after installing the open beta, I recommend you not install the update on your primary device, if you still want to try it out, then make sure to take a backup of important data.
