Oppo announces Android 15-based ColorOS 15 Beta Program for Oppo F27

Oppo has announced the Android 15-based ColorOS 15 closed beta program for Oppo F27 5G, becoming the company’s first device to gain ColorOS 15 access. For the time being, the recruitement is live for users in India with limited time period and slots.

The company has officially shared all details on its community forum. As per details, users can take a part in the beta program between Oct 31 to Nov 2. Do note that there are only 2,000 slots available. If you’re in a haste and want to try out the new skin, then please make sure to apply as soon as possible.

One thing to keep in mind is, please ensure your phone is running on any of these software versions:

  • CPH2637_14.0.1.1003(EX01)
  • CPH2637_14.0.1.735(EX01)
  • CPH2637_14.0.1.733(EX01)

If your phones is running on older build, please update it to the newest available software upgrade to join the closed beta program. Once updated, you can join the open beta program, follow these steps to enroll in the program.

If you want to join the beta program, you can navigate to Go to Settings > About Device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Trial version > Alpha and follow the steps to apply. Once done, you will receive a message to join official ColorOS group on telegram.

Additionally, your application will be reviewed in 5 days.If your application got selected you will receive the ColorOS 15 beta via a special OTA update.

Keep in mind that you may encounter with some bugs or issues after installing the open beta, I recommend you not install the update on your primary device, if you still want to try it out, then make sure to take a backup of important data.
