Android 14 update starts rolling out to Moto G54

After two months of beta testing, Motorola has started rolling out the stable Android 14 update for the Moto G54. The company has already released the anticipated software upgrade for a couple of G-series phones including Moto G53 and Moto G84. Now it’s time for the G53’s successor, Moto G54.

At the time of writing, the update is seeding in Brazil and it is already live to some users. A broader rollout should follow in the coming days. As per details shared by Reddit user otavio_mf, the update comes with a U1TD34.94-12-7 software version with a download size of around 1.68GB.

Moto G54 was launched last September with the Android 13 operating system. The phone is all set to receive its first major OS upgrade – Android 14.

Talking about features and changes, the Android 14 update for Moto G54 comes with a flurry of useful features including lock screen customizations, monochrome themes with more color options, use your phone as a webcam, a new battery settings page, and even bigger fonts, improved privacy and security, and more.

If you live in Brazil and using the Moto G54, then you can now upgrade your phone to Android 14 by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for updates. However, the update is currently rolling out in a staged manner and will be available to everyone in the coming days, you can wait if the update is not visible on your device.

Make sure to take a backup before updating your phone. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% before updating the device.
