Oppo rolls out Android 13 update to Oppo Find X3 Lite

Oppo releases the Android 13 based ColorOS 13 update for the Oppo Find X3 Lite. Android 13 is the latest OS for Android phones. The update is already available for a bunch of Oppo phones such as Reno 6 series, Reno 7 series, and more. Now Find X3 Lite is the latest Oppo phone to receive the Android 13 update. And soon other Oppo phones will join the party as per the official roadmap.

The Oppo Find X3 series, which includes the Find X3 and Find X3 Pro, received updates in multiple regions last month. And now it is the turn of the lite variant. Earlier this month, Oppo shared the official roadmap for December. As per the roadmap, the Find X3 Lite was supposed to get the update from December 15 and is now rolling out to the device as per the plan.

Oppo Find X3 Lite was released in 2021 with Android 11 OS. Android 12 was the first major update for the device. And it is finally getting its second major update in the form of Android 13 and ColorOS 13.0.

As mentioned in the official roadmap, Oppo Find X3 Lite Android 13 update is rolling out in France with build number CPH2145_11_F.62. Thanks to a Reddit user, u/splashlucas for confirming the update with screenshot. The new major update weighs 4.65GB.

The interesting part of the update is the new features and changes. The Oppo Find X3 Lite Android 13 update brings features such as aquamorphic design, vibrant theme colors, customized task management, per-app language preference, notification permissions, enhanced privacy and security, and more. We don’t have the complete changelog, but the changes will be similar to the other updates which you can see below.

As mentioned earlier, the update is available in France. So if you are an Oppo Find X3 Lite user in France, you can expect the update anytime soon. This is a batch rollout which means the update may take time to reach all users. If the OTA update notification is not working then you have to manually check for update from Settings.

Before upgrading your phone, make sure to back up your device and charge your phone to at least 50%.
