Samsung has achieved an impressive milestone of rolling out the Android 13 update to over fifty percent of Galaxy phones in just two months. And as we all know Samsung is not going to stop there. Samsung releases Android 13 and One UI 5 for another Galaxy phone. This time Galaxy F23 5G is getting Android 13 update. The latest update comes with some quality changes.
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is the latest device in the F series. The latest device was released earlier this year with Android 12 OS. And now the Galaxy F23 5G is finally getting its first major update. Yes, Android 13 based One UI 5 is now rolling out for Galaxy F23 5G.
The Galaxy F23 Android 13 update is currently rolling out in India and the update is available with build number E236BXXU1BVL1. Since this is a major update, it weighs more than a GB so using WiFi is recommended to download the update. The latest update brings several valuable changes to the device.
The One UI 5 update for Galaxy F23 5G adds features such as new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, large widget support, widget stacking, more color styles for material you design, per app language preference, notification permission for each app on startup, and a bunch of other features. Along with new features, you can expect improved Android Security Patch as well. We don’t have the complete changelog, but you can check out the other changelog here.
If you are a Samsung Galaxy F23 5G user in India, you will receive the update soon if you haven’t already. This is a batch rollout just like the other Android OTA updates which means it will take time to reach all devices. You will receive an update notification. If the OTA update notification is not working on your phone, you need to manually check for the updates from Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Before installing the update, make sure to backup data from your phone and charge the device to at least 50%.
