Oppo has done a great job so far with the latest Android 13 based ColorOS 13 update. The company has already released official updates for many of its phones while some phones are on beta builds. Four more Oppo phones are now getting stable update. Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno 6 Z 5G, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro are now receiving the Android 13 update.
Oppo is next to Samsung when it comes to update progress. While Samsung is close to completing the Android 13 rollout, Oppo is also providing the update regularly. Android 13 and ColorOS 13 are available for a bunch of phones, including Oppo Reno 6 5G, Reno 7 series, Reno 8 series, Find X3 series, and more.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G Android 13 Update
The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is getting its second major update, Android 13 and ColorOS 13. It is available in India with build number ending with F.08. To get the latest update, the phone must be running on build C.16.
Oppo Reno 6 Z 5G Android 13 Update
The second device that is getting Android 13 update today is the Oppo Reno 6 Z 5G. Android 13 update is the second major update also for the Oppo Reno6 Z 5G phone. Android 13 for Reno 6 Z 5G is rolling out in Thailand with build number F.40. User must be on build C.25/C.26 to get the latest major update.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G Android 13 Update
The 5G version of Reno 5 Pro is also getting Android 13 based ColorOS 13 official update. The latest update is rolling out to users in India. And it comes with build number F.40. As usual to receive update, the device must be on the required version which is C.28/C.29 in this case.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro Android 13 Update
Along with the 5G version, the LTE variant of Reno 5 Pro is also receiving the official Android 13 update. Oppo Reno 5 Pro Android 13 update is currently live in Pakistan with build number F.40. And the required versions to get the latest update are C.28/C.29.
The main reason why users wait for a major update is that these update bring multiple changes, improvements, and new features. And the latest Android 13 based ColorOS 13 is also a big update for Oppo users.
The new Android 13 update brings new features such as aquamorphic design, vibrant theme colors, customized task management, per-app language preference, notification permissions, enhanced privacy and security, and more. And on top of new features, you can also expect an upgrade in the Android security patch.
If you own any of the four devices, you will receive the update soon once the update is available in your region. But as this is a batch rollout, this can take time to reach all users. You can also regularly check for update in Settings so that you don’t miss the update when it is available.
