Realme releases Android 13 Early Access for Realme 9 5G Speed Edition

Realme is working on the Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 for its devices. Till now many realme phones have received the Android 13 update but there are still some Realme phones in the queue which are yet to get the update.

Android 13 is now available for the Realme 9 5G SE through the Early Access program and the company has already opened up the application form for interested users. So if you want to experience Android 13 on your Realme 9 Speed Edition before others, you can opt for the update.

Early Access is the first build that may also contain major bugs. Once Early Access is available for a phone, users can expect the stable build within two months on the phone. So this means that the Realme 9 5G Speed Edition may get the update somewhere in early April or late March.

As always, Android 13 Early Access for Realme 9 5G SE is available for limited users. And the users will be selected based on the time of application submission. The application opens on 16th February which is today.

If you have a Realme 9 5G speed edition and want to try the Android 13 early access, make sure your phone is updated to version RMX3461_11.C.06. And after that submit the application form by heading to Settings > Software Update > three dots at right side > Trial versions > Early Access > Apply Now > Submit.

After submitting the application, wait for a few hours and you will receive the OTA update. You can also manually check for updates in Settings. If you are late to submit the form, then you will have to wait for the next batch or open beta.

Once you get the Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 you can install it. It will bring some new features and changes such as Aquamorphic design, new AOD animation, support for large folders on home screen, new icons, new widgets, and more. You can change the expected changelog on this page.

In case the Android 13 early access is not usable, you can downgrade to the last Android 12 stable version. To do that you need Realme 95G SE rollback package.

Remember to apply it only on the Early Access build. To install use the Local Install option which appears when clicking on the three dots on the software update page.
