Android 12 Beta 3 comes with Scrolling Screenshot, Game Mode, and more!

Since May, Google has been working painstakingly on its upcoming Android 12 OS. The company already released a bunch of beta builds of Android 12. The latest beta patch, aka, the Android 12 beta 2.1 knocked the Pixel phones with various bug fixes. Now Google kicks-off the Android 12 Beta 3 with flurry of new features and improvements. Now the third beta arrives with scrolling screenshot, improved auto-rotate, new game mode, and more.

With the release of the third-beta build, we reach closer to the stable release of Android 12. Google plants the new beta with SPB3.210618.013 build number, apart from that, it also dawns the updated July 2021 monthly security patch. As always, the beta is first available to the Pixel users. Scrolling Screenshot – The upcoming version of Android – Android 12, let users can capture full-page screenshot without sideloading any third-party app. The scrolling screenshots feature is already available with the third-beta release. After taking a screenshot, user will see a new option – Capture More, in Screenshot Editor, this option allows user to capture full-page screenshot starting Android 12 beta 3.

Better, faster auto-rotate – Auto Rotate gets major improvements with the new release of Android 12 beta. The device uses the front camera of smartphone to detect users face and rotate screen accordingly. This feature is going to be more useful for people who love watching content while lying down on a couch.

Android 12 for Games – The Android 12 is set to comes with a built-in gaming mode. The Game Mode API will improve the gaming performance, battery life, frame rates, and more. Apart from the Game Mode, Android 12 will also come with the Game Dashboard, it will be available to select phones later this year.

Mic and Camera toggles – Mic and Camera toggles arrived with the Android 12 Beta 2, the feature is now available enterprise administrators. It is also a part of the privacy feature which lets you disable app access directly from Quick Settings. Yes, both Microphone and Camera toggles are now accessible from Quick Settings.

Not only the afore-mentioned features, the Android 12 beta 3 also comes with the Privacy Indicator feature, new permission for CDM (companion device manager) paired apps starting foreground services, improvements, along with bug fixes.

If you are already using the Android 12 developer preview or Android 12 Beta, then you will get the OTA update directly on your phone. In case if you don’t get the notification for the update, you can check it manually. You can check for the update by going to Settings > System > Software Update. And then tap on download and install to get Android 12 beta 3 on your Pixel.
