Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program goes live for Realme GT

Just a few days ago, Oppo’s sister brand Realme, announced its Android 12-based custom skin – Realme UI 3.0. The company also dropped the roadmap of Realme UI 3.0. And as per the official timeline, the Realme GT 5G will be the company’s first phone to get access of the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0. As promised, Realme has kicked-off the Realme UI 3.0 early access program for Realme GT 5G. Here’s everything you need to know about Realme GT Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program aka closed beta update.

Realme shares the information of early access program on its community forum. And the company says that recruitment program has started from October 19. Although, there are limited seats to opt the closed the beta program, so, if you’re using Realme GT 5G and want to taste the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0, you can take a part to the early access program.

While sharing the information about the closed beta program, the company mentioned that the application will be visible to users running on RMX2202_11_A.14 software version.

Realme UI 3.0 is the company’s newest skin bundles a bunch of new features such as the refresh user interface, new 3D icons, Omoji 3D avatars, AOD 2.0, dynamic theming, new privacy controls, PC connect, and much more. Obviously, users can also access the essentials of Android 12. Now let’s take a look at the steps on how you can take a part in the Realme GT Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program.

How to join Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program on Realme GT

Realme GT 5G owners can taste the features of Realme UI 3.0. Before moving to the steps on how to participate beta program, just want to mention that, early access preview builds are not as stable as the open beta or stable builds. We don’t recommend installing the first preview build on your primary smartphone.

In case you’re using Realme GT as your secondary phone or simply just want to taste the new features, all you need to do it make sure that your phone is running on RMX2202_11_A.14 version number. If your smartphone is already running on the latest software, then you can follow the below-listed steps and enter your details in closed beta program.

  1. At first, open the Settings app on your Realme GT 5G.
  2. Now scroll down to the Software Update section and tap on it.
  3. In Software Update page, tap on the gear icon listed on the top right corner.
  4. Tap on the Trial version option > Early Access > Apply Now.
  5. To join the early access program, enter your Mobile number or email address, then accept the terms and conditions, and hit the submit button.
  6. That’s it.

Before participating the closed beta program, take a backup of important data to prevent data loss, make sure that your phone is charged at least 60%, and make sure it is not rooted.

If your application got selected, you’ll receive the Realme UI 3.0 based Android 11 closed beta update on Realme GT 5G via special OTA. In case the early access program is full, you can wait for a few days for more slots. That’s it.
