Android 11 is now available for Vivo S1 and Vivo V15 Pro as Greyscale testing

Android 11 is the latest Android available to the public and there are plenty of Android phones left to receive the update. It includes many phones from Vivo such as Vivo S1 and Vivo V15 Pro. If you have any of these two Vivo phones, then we have good news for you. Some testers reportedly starts receiving the Android 11 update as greyscale testing. It means you can expect Android 11 for Vivo S1 and Vivo V15 Pro in the coming months.

Vivo is among some OEMs which has their own Custom UI. And the latest OS from Vivo is Funtouch OS 11 which is based on Android 11. And till now only a few Vivo devices managed to get the latest stable update. But soon Vivo will cover the majority of Vivo phones that are eligible for Android 11.

Both Vivo S1 and Vivo V15 Pro phones are from 2019 with Android 9 OS out of the box. Later last year both phones received Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10 as the first major update for both phones. And the upcoming Android 11 will be the second major update for devices.

Vivo has officially mentioned that the Android 11 for Vivo V15 Pro and Vivo S1 is available under Greyscale testing and registered testers already started receiving the update over the air. We don’t have the full changelog coming with the latest Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11 beta. But here are some features you can expect for your phone.

Funtouch OS 11 on Vivo S1 and Vivo V15 Pro comes with features such as refreshed UI, chat bubbles, notification history, customizable AOD, Multi Turbo Mode 4.0, updated stock apps, and a few more. If you already got the update on your Vivo phone, let us know which is the best feature on your device.

The update is currently available only for testers and if you are a part of greyscale testing, you may have already received the update. It is available over the air, and you will get the update notification on your phone. If not, you can manually check for the update from Settings.

It will be available soon for everyone if everything goes well in the testing. You can expect the update later this month or next month. If you get the update then make sure to take a full backup of your phone and also charge your phone to at least 60%.
