After releasing the One UI 3.0 based Android 11 update for the flagship models, Samsung started testing its latest skin on the mid-range phones. Last month, we’ve reported that Android 11 based One UI 3.0 testing build found for the Galaxy A90 5G. Now the news comes out that, Samsung is reportedly testing One UI 3.0 skin on the Galaxy A70.
Although, Samsung Galaxy A70 is slated to get the newer skin in May 2021. Recently, in November 2019, the device received One UI 2.5 update. Now it is all set to get the One UI 3.0 based Android 11 update and the testing is already live in a few regions.
According to the details shared by a twitter user (@agexe_), Android 11 testing is undergoing for the Galaxy A70 with model number SM-A705FN in regions of Spain (PHE) and Ukraine (SEK).
The firmware was found on the 5th January for the Spain region. A third-party app named, CheckFirm, also confirms that the One UI 3.0 based Android 11 build is under testing for the Galaxy A90 5G. CheckFirm app allows you to check the information of upcoming firmwareโs or official firmware of Galaxy devices. There might be some chances that the device will get the latest update sooner than expected.
One UI 3.0ย is the newest custom skin by Samsung, itโs based on the latest Android 11 update. Itโs one of the biggest updates for Galaxy phones, the update packs a bunch of new features including an overhauled Notification panel and long press menu for apps, new Volume controls layout, intuitive lock screen and Bixby Routines, a flurry of customizations to AOD, and much more.
Samsung Galaxy A70 is one of the best-selling mid-range phones of 2019 and is all set to get Android 11 very soon. Obviously, it packs a slew of new features along with updated security patch.
