Like every other OEM, Lenovo’s Motorola now comes in action, and started pushing the Android 10 update for their phones. This time, It arrives on Moto One Action. The smartphone was launched last year and ran on Android Pie 9.0. Most Motorola One-series phones are under Google’s Android One program. As of now, only a few Android One Program phones have received the Android 10 update, but the Motorola is painstakingly working to push this big update. Motorola has started rolling the Android 10 stable update for Moto One Action. The update is currently seeding in Brazil, will coming to other regions as well. There are some users on twitter who have reported receiving Android 10 update. It changes the security patch to December 2019 security patch on your One Action. For now, the OTA (zip) is not available for manual updation, but we’ll link the file once it is available.
Talking about the features, then this update brings the most-anticipated feature of last year, dubbed as system-wide Dark Mode. Other than that, It comes with Navigation Gestures, stability improvements, alongside the basic features of Android 10. Android 10 Update for Moto One Action [Stable]
This is an OTA (over-the-air) update, and the OTAs will some time to reach every user. The update gains December 2019 security patch, while other OEMs have already pushed the latest January 2020 security patch. For now, the firmware is now available.
Prerequisites:
- Charge your phone to at least 50%
- Connect your phone to WiFi with Internet (To avoid additional network charges)
- Take a full backup (just a precautionary step)
But, If you’re in a haste then, try to update your smartphone immediately from the system updates.
- At first, Open the device settings.
- Click on System.
- Head over to System Updates (Check for the Updates).
- If available then, Tap on Download and Install.
- It will start downloading the firmware.
- Now click on Restart Now.
- That’s it.
Now your Moto One Action is running on Android 10 with all the working features. You can also try to update using ADB sideload method.
