The wait is finally over! Microsoft has lifted the curtains off the new Snapdragon X-powered Copilot Plus PCs at its annual Surface Event. At the event, Microsoft showcases the capabilities of new AI-powered Windows PCs.
Among the noteworthy AI features announcement, Microsoft introduced an impressive new lineup of Surface devices, featuring the latest Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. Additionally, Microsoft and Qualcomm teamed up with other PC makers and announced a wide range of Copilot+ PCs.
Here are all the Copilot Plus PCs announced at the Microsoft Surface Event.
The Copilot Plus PCs bring significant improvements to Windows PCs, powered by the super powerful Snapdragon X Elite chipset. This chipset is capable of an impressive 40+ trillion operations per second, extended battery life, significant performance improvements, and access to advanced AI models.
One of the standout features of these PCs is the ability to run all the new AI capabilities locally on the device. These super powerful devices can run new features like Recall, Cocreator, and Live Captions using on-device AI. Prioritizing privacy, these PCs come equipped with Microsoft’s Pluton Security chip and other privacy features integrated into Windows 11.
All Snapdragon X-Powered PCs Announced at Surface Event
Every Copilot Plus PC should meet certain key requirements, including a minimum of 16GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and an integrated NPU. For the time being, there are only two processors that meet the criteria, these chips are Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus. Here are all Snapdragon X-powered PCs announced at Microsoft’s Surface Event.
Microsoft Surface Lineup
Microsoft unveiled its most powerful Windows PCs yet – the Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop. The Surface Laptop comes in two sizes – 13.8-inch and 15-inch with up to 22 hours of battery life. The laptop goes official in both Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus chips.
The Surface Pro is another powerful laptop in the lineup with up to 90% performance boost, comes in a 13-inch screen size, 4th Gen SSD, up to 64GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage options. You will be able to buy the laptop with either Snapdragon X Elite or X Plus options. The new Surface PCs are up for pre-orders and will be available from June 18, starting at $1,000.
Acer Swift 14 AI
Acer introduces an all-new AI-infused Copilot+ PC Swift 14 laptop, which is different from all other Swift 14 models available in the market. The new Swift 14 AI is the only model that comes with the new Snapdragon X Series chipset. The laptop comes with a 14.5-inch 2.5K touchscreen display, up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and a metal chassis. The laptop will be available in July and starts at $1,100.
Asus Vivobook S15
Asus is starting its AI laptop journey with the all-new Vivobook S15 OLED. As the name suggests, the laptop features a 15.6-inch OLED display, a Harman Kardon-certified audio system with Dolby Atmos, a 70Wh battery, 16GB and 32GB RAM options, as well as 1TB storage onboard. Apart from the Copilot AI features, the laptop is infused with Asus’s in-house AI features. The Vivobook S15 starts at $1,299 and is already available for pre-orders.
Dell XPS, Inspiron, and Latitude
Dell joins the AI race with announcement of five Copilot+ PCs. The lineup offers a new XPS 13, Inspiron 14, Inspiron 14 Plus, Latitude 5455, and Latitude 7455 models. The XPS goes official in three display options – IPS, IPS touchscreen, and OLED touchscreen, mid-tier Snapdragon X Elite chipset, up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB onboard storage.
The Inspiron 14 series is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus chipset, with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB storage, and IPS touchscreen display. The Latitude models in the lineup are available in both Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus options. You can pre-order these laptops now. The price of the XPS 13 starts at $1,299, while the Inspiron 14 starts at $1,099.
HP OmniBook and EliteBook Ultra
HP enters the AI revolution with two new additions – OmniBook and EliteBook Ultra. The OmniBook is a consumer-focused device, whereas, the EliteBook Ultra is a business-focused device. The OmniBook X dons a 14-inch multitouch display with Corning Gorilla Glass, WiFi 7 compatibility, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage options.
The EliteBook Ultra G1q goes official in 14-inch touchscreen, Poly Camera Pro software for better video calls using the power of NPU, and it offers better security features. The laptop supports fast charging and available in up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Both laptops will be available from July 18, the OmniBook X starts at $1,149, whereas the EliteBook starts at $1,700.
Lenovo Yoga Slim and ThinkPad
Lenovo updates its famous Yoga Slim and ThinkPad by bringing the AI-infused Snapdragon X Elite series processors. Needless to day, the Yoga Slim is an affordable option in the two new laptops. The Yoga Slim 7x boasts a 14.5-inch 3K OLED display, a super sleek design, a quad-mic setup, support for up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. Both new AI-focused lptops are available for pre-orders, the Yoga Slim starts at $1,300.

Samsung Galaxy Book Edge
Samsung upgrades the Galaxy Book portfolio by adding new AI-focused PCs to the lineup. The company launches the Galaxy Book 4 Edge and Edge Pro. There are two models in the lineup – 14-inch and 16-inch AMOLED displays with 2880 X 1800 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung launches these laptops in 16GB RAM and 512GB / 1TB storage options. The Edge series starts at $1,349 in the US.
